The Pennington First Aid Squad (PFAS), Pennington, NJ is devoted to the protection of the people of Hopewell Valley and surrounding areas. We are proud to have been a volunteer organization since 1954.
We serve a population of over 20,000 people - 24 hours a day, every day and answer about 1100 calls for help each year.
PFAS is a Basic Life Support organization with Advanced Life Support from Capital Health System. Weekdays from 6 AM to 6PM, we partner with Hopewell Valley Emergency Services, a paid ambulance and fire inspection team from Hopewell Township.
PFAS works closely with other Hopewell Valley volunteer agencies, the Pennington Fire Company, the Hopewell Fire Department and Emergency Medical Unit, and the Union Fire Company and Rescue Squad.
PFAS routinely provides mutual aid support for the neighboring communities of Ewing, Lawrence, and Trenton, NJ. The PFAS is proud to have been among the volunteer squads responding into Manhattan on 9/11/2001.
